Deep cleaning
The long visit that resets a house to its actual condition.
- from $420
- 5 to 9 hours, usually a team of two or three

Everything in a recurring visit, plus the parts of a house that only get attention once or twice a year: inside cabinetry, behind and under what moves, grout, vents, window interiors, light fittings and the tops of doors.
Who books this
First visits, spring after a damp Portland winter, before guests, after a renovation, or after a season of nobody having time.

Scope in person
Deep cleans are quoted after we have actually seen the house. A square-footage calculator would guess, and it would guess wrong.
A room order
We work top down and dirty-last, so the bathrooms are done with dedicated cloths at the end of each zone.
Dwell time respected
Where a disinfectant is genuinely needed, the surface stays visibly wet for the full label time. That is most of why deep cleans take longer.
Walk it with us
We finish with you, room by room, and fix anything on the spot rather than scheduling a return.
What is included
- Everything in a recurring visit, at a slower pace
- Inside kitchen cabinets and drawers, emptied and wiped, if you clear them first
- Grout scrubbed with an oxygen-based paste rather than chlorine bleach
- Behind and beneath anything two people can safely move
- Interior window glass, sills and tracks on the ground floor
- Vent covers, ceiling fan blades, light fittings and the tops of door frames
- Baseboards wet-wiped throughout, not just dusted
What is not
- Post-construction dust, which needs a different scope and different filtration
- Carpet extraction and upholstery shampooing, which we refer out
- Anything requiring the removal of a fixture or appliance from its plumbing
- Biohazard, hoarding recovery and rodent contamination
We keep referrals for every one of these. Ask and you will get a name, not a shrug.
What comes into the house.
The kit for this visit, with every ingredient published. Fragrance-free unless you ask otherwise, and nothing gets used on a surface it can damage.
Before you book.
The four we are asked most. The rest are here.
How is a first visit different?
The first visit is usually a deep clean, priced separately, because a recurring visit is designed to maintain a level rather than to catch up on a backlog. If a house has been well kept we will say so and skip it.
Do I need to be home?
No. Most recurring clients give us a lockbox code or a key, held under our bond. If you are home, that is fine too, and we will work around whichever room you are in.
What does it cost?
Recurring visits start at 165 dollars for a two bed one bath every two weeks. Deep cleans start around 420 dollars, move-outs around 385 dollars, and both are quoted after a walkthrough rather than from a square-footage calculator. Prices shown on this demo site are illustrative.
What will you not do?
Mould remediation beyond roughly ten square feet, carpet and upholstery extraction, post-construction dust, pest or biohazard contamination, exterior windows, anything above a two-step ladder, and any sanding or scraping of painted surfaces in a home built before 1978. We keep referrals for all of it.
The other two.
