Cleaning

Four ways we work in a home, priced by rooms and condition rather than by guesswork.

Sensitivities

What we change when someone in the house reacts to scent, dust or residue.

Studio

Who turns up, where we work, and what we have written down about the trade.

Start

Book a first visit, ask a question, or read the answers we give most often.

Privacy.

A cleaning company learns more about a household than most businesses ever do. Here is what we would hold, why, and for how long.

This site is a design demonstration. No form on it submits anywhere. No analytics, tracking pixels, advertising tags or third-party scripts run. Nothing is stored in a database because there is no database, and no cookies are set. The policy below describes how a real cleaning company built on this design would handle data.

What we would collect

Contact details you give us: name, email address, phone number and the address of the home to be cleaned. The household file we build at the walkthrough: room notes, floor and surface types, sensitivities and allergies mentioned by you, pets, and access arrangements such as a lockbox code.

Health information only where you volunteer it and only in the form you gave it. If you tell us somebody has asthma, we write down asthma. We do not ask for a diagnosis, records or detail beyond what changes how we clean.

Why we would hold it

  • To quote accurately and to run the visit safely.
  • To keep sensitivity notes so a new team member never has to be told twice.
  • To invoice, and to keep the records tax law requires.
  • To send the monthly letter, if and only if you asked for it.

Who would see it

The cleaners assigned to your home, the scheduler, and the owner. Payment processing would use a third-party processor that receives your name, email and the amount, and never the household file. We would not sell, rent or share client data with advertisers or data brokers, under any circumstances.

How long

Household files for as long as you are a client, then twelve months, then deleted. Access details such as lockbox codes are deleted the week a client stops. Invoices are kept for seven years because tax law requires it. Newsletter addresses are deleted the day you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act you can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for corrections, ask for deletion, and opt out of any sale or targeted advertising use, of which we would do none. You can also ask us to delete a lockbox code and keep working with a door left unlocked, and plenty of clients do.

A request in a real version of this business would go to[email protected], answered within thirty days.

Photographs

Move-out cleans include a photographic record of the finished condition. Those photographs go to the client and nowhere else. We do not publish photographs of a client's home, with or without permission, because a clean house is not marketing collateral and an address is not ours to share.

Changes

A real version of this policy would carry a revision date and a plain summary of what changed. This one is illustrative and carries neither.
